The Southport & District Amateur Radio Club's web-site was originally designed by G7LFC in 2001. However, its continued development passed over to dynanti in 2007 and this resulted in the sites conversion to a 'standards compliant site' early in 2008. Being Standards Compliant, you can rest assured that the site will work in as many different modern browsers as possible and that it is compatible with assistive technologies used by disabled persons. The site has been tested against the world's most important web standards and passed with flying colours.
We believe that the SADARC web site is one of the few web standards based Amateur Radio sites in the world.
Our web development and maintenance team, dynanti, is a professional firm of web designers run by Derek Hughes (G7LFC) and Jayne Moss. Both are highly qualified in their field having been awarded First Class Honors Degrees by Lancaster University in Web Systems Development. They specialise in delivering web standards sites that meet all the legal accessibility requirements of the UKs Disability Discrimination Act.
