Communications is an everday activity that we are all involved in, be it face-to-face or using some form of electronic device. Radio communications are used by the vast majority of us, without even realising it some of the time; radio, television and satellite receivers, mobile phones, handheld computing devices and wirless networking all use radio communications of one form or another.
We can visit your school or college and provide a fun-packed day full of interesting activities that will introduce your students to radio communications and explain how they work and how to use them. Most of the activities are hands-on and suitable for Key Stage 2 (KS2) and Key Stage 3 (KS3) students. We can also tailor our visit to fit in with particular areas of the curriculum that your students are currently studying.
In addition to making educational visits we can also attend your special events and run live radio communications demonstrations, enabling your students and visitors to get real hands-on experience in communicating using radios and computers.
If you would like further information on our school and college visits, please contact us and we will be happy to come and discuss your requirements with you.
