Morse SC 4.1, released in December 2007, is a Morse code tutor program for PCs running DOS or Windows (either in a DOS window on Windows 9x/ME, or using the CMD window on Windows 2000/XP). The program is very compact, at under 100Kb, and will work on even the most hardware challenged equipment as it requires nothing more than the PC's own on-board speaker as opposed to a sound card to generate the audio.
This program may either be used as a principal tutoring aid or as support for other Morse training schemes and programs.
The author, Duncan (G8ATH), informs us that Morse SC is freeware and may be distributed freely by anyone downloading it under the proviso that it is not sold.
Once you download the ZIP file uncompress it and you will find a standard Readme text file, viewable using any standard text editor (such as Notepad in Windows) or word-processor, and an Overview and Guid,e in Adobe Acrobat format (free reader software available here), in addition to the program file.
We hope you find this software useful and would encourage you to pass any comments you may have about this free software to Duncan.
