HK0 - 5J0E will be the callsign the Texas DX Society team [425DXN 877] will be using from San Andres during the ARRL DX SSB Contest. During all other times, they will be signing HK0/homecall on SSB, CW and digital modes. The operators (WF5W, W5PF, NM5G, K5WAF, W5PR and N4AL) will be on the island from 1 to 6 March. ARRL INTERNATIONAL DX CONTEST (SSB) ---> Object of the contest is for W/VE amateurs to work as many stations in as many DXCC countries as possible on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 metre bands, while foreign amateurs (also including KH6, KL7, CY9 and CY0) work as many W/VE stations in as many of the 48 contiguous states and provinces as possible (complete rules can be found at http://www.arrl.org/contests/rules/2008/intldx.html).
