C6 - Randy, W6SJ will be active as C6AWS from Grand Bahama (NA-080) on 6-12 March. He plans to operate holiday style with an emphasis on 30, 17 and 12 metres, "as there seems to be special interest in them". QSL via home call. [TNX W6SJ]

DL - Clubstation DARC Ortsverband will be active as DA0HEL and DL0IH from Helgoland Island (EU-127) with the special DOK "HEL2008" from 1 through 31 March. QSL via DF6QC, bureau preferred. [TNX VA3RJ]

EA - Adolfo, EA7TV wil be active as EA5/EA7TV from Tabarca Island (EU-093) on 6-9 March. Expect him to operate mainly on 20 and 40 metres. QSL via home call, direct or bureau. [TNX EA7TV]

FO0 - The TX5C team set sail on 28 February around 3.00 UTC and will operate as FO5A/mm while en route to Clipperton Atoll (NA-011). Conditions permitting, they should be QRV from the island on 7-17 March. Announced frequencies are as follows:

FR - Jean-Pierre, F5HIJ will operate as FR/F5HIJ from Reunion (AF-016) on 3-31 March. Look for him to be active between 18 and 20 UTC. [TNX F5NQL]

H4 - Bernhard, DL2GAC will be active once again as H44MS from Honiara, Guadalcanal Island (OC-047), Solomon Islands between 4 March and 28 April. Hermann, DL2NUD will be joining him until 7 April. The two plan to operate 2 metre EME WSJT from grid locator QI90xn. [TNX The Daily DX]

HK0 - 5J0E will be the callsign the Texas DX Society team [425DXN 877] will be using from San Andres during the ARRL DX SSB Contest. During all other times, they will be signing HK0/homecall on SSB, CW and digital modes. The operators (WF5W, W5PF, NM5G, K5WAF, W5PR and N4AL) will be on the island from 1 to 6 March. KH9 - Colin, WA2YUN is on work assignment on Wake Island (OC-053) "for an extended period". He will be operating as WA2YUN/KH9 as time permits. QSL via K2PF. [TNX K2PF]

PJ2 - Chad, WE9V is active as PJ2/WE9V from Curacao (SA-006) until 4 March. QSL via home call (direct, bureau or LoTW). He will participate in the ARRL DX SSB Contest as PJ2T (QSL via N9AG or LoTW). [TNX WE9V]

V2 - Chris, M0AJT will be signing V26CC from Antigua (NA-100) on 1-14 March, BERU Contest included. He plans to operate mainly CW with some SSB using 100 watts and a multiband vertical. [TNX K1XN]

VK - John, K8UP and Marsha, N8FE will be active holiday style from Australia on 3-13 March. Expect them to operate as VK4AIJ and VK4AII on 20, 15 and 10 metres SSB. QSL via N8FE; logs will be uploaded to LoTW. [TNX N8FE]

W - Curtis, KI6KUK and possibily other operators from the Palos Verdes Amateur Radio Club (www.palosverdes.com/pvarc) will operate as K6PV from Santa Catalina Island (NA-066) from about 22 UTC on 6 March through about 23 UTC on the 10th. ARRL INTERNATIONAL DX CONTEST (SSB) ---> Object of the contest is for W/VE amateurs to work as many stations in as many DXCC countries as possible on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 metre bands, while foreign amateurs (also including KH6, KL7, CY9 and CY0) work as many W/VE stations in as many of the 48 contiguous states and provinces as possible (complete rules can be found at http://www.arrl.org/contests/rules/2008/intldx.html).
