CE0Z - Ulli, DL2AH will be active as CE0Z/DL2AH from Juan Fernandez (SA-005) from 18 March to 7 April. He plans to operate holiday style on 40-10 metres mainly SSB and RTTY. QSL via home call, direct or bureau. [TNX NG3K]

EA6 - Joan/EA3GHZ, Enrique/EA5EOR and Dina/EC5BME will operate SSB and CW as EA6/homecall from Ibiza, Balearic Islands (EU-004) on 20-24 March. They will have two complete stations, and will concentrate on 160, 80, 40 and 30 metres from 18 UTC until the early morning hours. QSL via home calls, direct or bureau. [TNX www.dxfun.com]

EL - Bruno, HB9BEI (EL8BK) and Chris, HB9AUZ (EL8CB) will be active during their spare time from Liberia between 18 March and late April. [TNX The Daily DX]

FO0 - Extreme heat alternating to heavy rain caused the TX5C team to become QRV from Clipperton later than expected. The first QSO was logged at 00.28 UTC on 9 March. The team experienced very difficult conditions on the island. Multiple major thunderstorms caused several problems and damages - the generators went down, the 15m SVDA at the SSB camp was destroyed, two CW keyers and two amplifiers died. Operations are now due to stop at local dawn on 15 March, a couple of days earlier than planned. Sunrise at Clipperton is around 13.30 UTC. The on-line log now contains 59,669 QSOs (latest update 13 March at 23.43). The website for the expedition is at http://www.clipperton2008.org

I - Special stations II0IGU (QSL via IK0JFS), II0IDP (via IS0SDX), II1ICS (via I1SAF), II1IGG (via I2AZ), II7ICT (via IZ7EDQ), II8ICN (via IZ8FAV) and II9ICF (via IT9MRM) - all representing former coast radio stations of the Italian Navy - will be active on 22-30 March for the Italian Navy Coastal Radio Stations Award (http://digilander.libero.it/assoradiomarinai/coastal08/home.htm). JD1_mt - Look for Masa, JD1BMM to operate CW, SSB and digital modes on the HF bands from Minami Torishima (OC-073) for three weeks starting on 17 March. QSL via the address at http://www.qrz.com/jd1bmm [TNX The Daily DX]

OZ - Ben, DO1BEN will be active as OZ/DO1BEN from Lolland Island (EU-029) on 22-28 March. QSL via home call, direct or bureau. [TNX www.rsgbiota.org]

SX5 - Three operators from the Aegean DX Group (namely Alexandros/SV8CYR, Vassilis/SV8CYV and Vagelis/SV5CJQ) will be active as SX5AI from Agathonisi Island (EU-001) on 21-26 March. This island also counts for GIOTA DKS 063 (see "Good to Know"). They plan to operate SSB and digital modes on 20, 40 and 80 metres, plus 10 and 6 metres SSB if the bands are open. UA - R9J is currently being aired during "The Great Northern Route", a scientific expedition that started from St. Petersburg on 4 March and will end on 7 April after 4,800 kilometres. Look for activity on 3600, 7070, 14120 and 14180 kHz. R9J/1 is also expected to be aired from Vaygach Island (EU-086). QSL via RV9JD.
