It was always a popular exhibition, attended by Radio Amateurs from far and wide. The Irish lads and lasses would get the boat over and spend the weekend, the folk from the North West of England would flock in their thousands and the North Welsh guys and gals had a rally they could call their own.
Unfortunately, the venue grew less and less popular and parking was a nightmare, resulting in fewer and fewer folk attending. The final nail in the rally's coffin was when the venue announced a huge hike in costs. However, the organising group (the North Wales Radio Society) have bounced back, found a new venue with excellent facilities and lots of free parking, and organised a two day show that is to take place over the first weekend of November (1st/2nd).

Ysgol John Bright (John Bright School) is the rally's new home, a brand new building close to the town centre. It allows the event to be run in two halls with reasonably priced catering provided by the school's own staff.
We wish the group every success and look forward to seeing them there.
