QSL GALLERY ---> The large collection of QSL cards (nearly 5800) on Les Nouvelles DX's web site has been updated. Twelve different galleries include cards for the ten Most Wanted DXCC Entities (228 QSLs), the 58 deleted DXCC entities (870 QSLs), obsolete prefixes (2192 QSLs), stations from Magrebh from 1947 to 1962 (264 QSLs), Antarctic bases (681 QSLs) & TAAF (Terres Australes and Antarctiques Francaises, 236 QSLs), the various French DXCC island Entities in the Pacific Ocean (195 QSLs) & the Indian Ocean (96 QSLs), pre-1945 countries (438 QSLs), French Departments (450 QSLs) and USA (49 QSLs) plus a gallery for cards not accepted by DXCC (88 QSLs). QSL ROUTES ---> Leonardo Lastrucci, IZ5FSA and Paolo Toscano, IK3QAR have developed a new command (SHOW/IK3QAR ) to query IK3QAR's QSL Manager Internet database (www.ik3qar.it) from the DXcluster. The command has been included in the DX Spider Cluster version 1.55 (build 0.25) by Dirk Koopman, G1TLH. Sysops can contact IZ5FSA (e-mail address at qrz.com) for further information.

VENEZUELAN INDEPENDENCE DAY CONTEST ---> The 47th edition of the Venezuelan Independence Day Contest will take place on 5-6 July. + SILENT KEYS + Franco Moretti (I4FP), a doyen of amateur radio in Italy, passed away on 22 June, at 88 years of age. Other recently reported Silent Keys include Vladimir I. Lyapin (UA2AW, ex UA3BD) and Paul Richard Bailey (VS6DO).
