Communications is an everday activity that we are all involved in, be it face-to-face or using some form of electronic device. Radio communications are used by the vast majority of us, without even realising it some of the time; radio, television and satellite receivers, mobile phones, handheld computing devices and wireless networking all use radio communications of one form or another.

School visits

We can visit your school or college and provide a fun-packed day full of interesting activities that will introduce your students to radio communications and explain how they work and how to use them. Most of the activities are hands-on and suitable for Key Stage 2 (KS2) and Key Stage 3 (KS3) students. We can also tailor our visit to fit in with particular areas of the curriculum that your students are currently studying, or run a National Science & Engineering Week event for you.

If you would like to book us to visit your school, contact us now for further information.

Youth group visits

Over the years we have supported local Scout groups and run six week courses that have enabled members to gain their Communication Badge, we've also taken several a step further to gain their Amateur Radio Foundation License.

If we can help your youth group in any way contact us now for further information.

Special events

In addition to making educational visits we can also attend your special events and run live radio communications demonstrations, enabling your students/members and visitors to get real hands-on experience in communicating using radios and computers. We are able to run special event stations for the Scouts Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) and Girl Guide's Thinking Day on the Air (TDOA).
